Makes you wonder at times, if Sponsors aren't perhaps a bit greedy, or is it the affiliate? Who deserves the credit for a sale, if the surfer doesn't join at the original price point but does when offered a cheaper price to join? Should it be split, as any normal sale, or should it be kept entirely by the Sponsor? Kind of also makes one wonder, about other practises, such as shaving, and exit consoles.

Wordpress does it make it simple, sort of, to add automation to your blog. You can add feeds from various sponsors, to help populate your blog, but like anything, you need to plan ahead, plan for the additions. One thing to remember is that when you have the basics set up, you can simply add more stuff, for minimal time. It is the set up, that takes the time, but it saves you from headaches, or the 'damn I wish I had done that earlier' syndrom. It also can help make your site more profitable, and that is a good thing, don't you think?

People need a release in their life, and porn offers such a release. However, it can be pricey and with limited funds, some people are going to look for free porn, rather than sign up. However it doesn't have to be that way, if you do your marketing right, if you adjust your promotions, to today's economic realities. Pay per sign up or PPS is one way to keep the revenue coming in, as people's credit cards max out, and so they don't recur. Other things can be done, to help push the customer towards the join page, but it takes time, effort, research, and patience too.

Sponsors need affiliates, to help push their sales, to make them a viable business, yet they fail to provide the necessary tools, in an easy manner, so that affiliates can do the job. It is like hiring a carpenter to build you a house, but instead of telling him the address you send him on a treasure hunt for clues, until eventually he winds up at the empty lot. Affiliate marketing is hard, with millions of people doing it, and yes, producing content isn't easy either, but if you want to make sales, time that sponsors woke up, and delivered the right tools to their affiliates.

The trap we all fall into, is we get wrapped up in the thrill, the excitement of seeing our efforts come to fruition. We want our 'baby' to take its first step, before it is even all the way out of the womb. And that works against us, in the long run. Slow & steady does win the race, but damn, it is hard to not try to sprint to the finish line, even when you can't even see it ahead. Planning now, saves extra boring work, later on, but we never do it, though we mean to. Don't we?

Makes no sense, to piss the customer off, and yet many sites seem to not care about that. They just want that quick buck, and that is literal. Course they make it damn hard to cancel, so not only do they get the buck, they get at least a month's membership price, and so what if the customer is pissed off. There are plenty more where they came from, or are there?
