The trap we all fall into, is we get wrapped up in the thrill, the excitement of seeing our efforts come to fruition. We want our ‘baby’ to take its first step, before it is even all the way out of the womb. And that works against us, in the long run. Slow & steady does win the race, but damn, it is hard to not try to sprint to the finish line, even when you can’t even see it ahead.
