Spam is the bane of Bloggers, and while Akismet does a super job, there are tricks you can employ to help keep them away. By using some of the available options in the settings area, you can manually ban selected IP addresses, or domain names. Heck, you can ban selected words, but with caution. The thing is, banned them, keeps them away, and that’s a good thing, in my mind. Least it stops seeing all those nasty spam numbers awaiting approval or action. Continue reading
