Over in the ‘Butcher Shop‘ of our forums, the discussion is about the increased payouts being offered to affiliates by sponsors. I wonder, are we putting our businesses at risk, in an effort to grab as many affiliates as possible, irrespective of how good they promote the site or not?

I wonder, if that by raising payouts, sponsors aren’t diluting their product in the long run? I mean it gets their stuff out there, on the TGP & MGP sites to the point that they are becoming old hat. Doesn’t having so much free content out there, dilute the brand?
