I am curious.

If you are a sponsor, how do you treat new affiliates?

Do you send them a welcome email, that lists their sign up particulars, including password and username? Or do you simply just enjoy the bling they send you, and if they don’t send you any traffic, do you bother to inquire why?

Then too, do you keep them informed of your changes, of new content added to your sites, to help make their promotions easier? Or do you just post it in the webmaster area or whatever, and let them find it for themselves?

I know of two on the gay side, who send an email each week. Attached zip files or links to download the NEW promo material are added, which frankly makes my life a lot easier. So do others?
