Today, Gay Porn Pig, an up and coming Gay Review and Link Site announced that it was removing all references to Bareback Porn videos, and sites that promoted Bareback Sex. It is a stand of Conviction, where the owner, Michael Keely, is putting his CONVICTIONS BEFORE MONEY.

Over on the Heterosexual side, bareback sex is very common, and still rather risky, dangerous perhaps, but somehow isn’t an issue. However on the Homosexual side, it is a raging debate about its ethics. Maybe those on the ’straight side‘ should be taking a look at the whole ‘bareback‘ controversy. Sexual Fantasy is what we sell,  but we also have an obligation to inform, to educate. The Religious Right continue to hammer at us, with easy barbs, when we promote UNSAFE SEX.

By taking a stand, like Gay Porn Pig, we can BLUNT their arguments.

Sometimes, it takes a lot of courage to stand up and refuse to take money, in order to make a statement. Michael Keely is doing just that, and in his own way, is showing that he is a LEADER and not a follower.  What other’s do is for them to decide, but if enough people follow his example, then perhaps we can truly make a dent on the diseases that ravage our community, but more than that, gain respect from those who think being an adult webmaster is somehow dirty.
