Wordpress - Visual Editor Enhancements
One thing about the Visual Editor, is how small the damn box was. I mean seriously, couple of lines and you are suddenly scrolling like mad. Specially if you are a natural yapper like me. It makes editing, adding links, styles, a royal pain in the ass.

So today I went in search of figuring out how to change the blasted box display, for when you write. Now I feel like a total dolt. See, there was always a way to change the post box size, just not what I would call exactly, highly visible.
Basically at the far bottom right of the box, is a nifty little corner lines. I mean seriously, they look like just decoration, to show the end of the post box. It is just above the ‘publish button‘ for your post
.
Now doesn’t that just rot your socks?
Put your mouse on those lines, then simply pull down like any other ‘box expansion‘ control, and suddenly you have a lot more writing room. I had to click the mouse when I had it open to the size I wanted, but that was all there was to it. I mean talk about simple, and yet so well hidden.
All this time, farting around with a tiny space, when it was a simple ‘click‘ away from being at a size I could be comfortable with. I didn’t see anything about it either in the Wordpress documentation, but was playing around with how many lines to show in the editor, under ‘options » writing‘. It didn’t seem to do anything, and by chance I saw this, and well, clicked it.
I amaze myself at times. ![]()
