No, not take a pee or anything like that, but the question is, do your pages have leaks on them? Traffic leaks that is.

Lloyd from Gaywebmastering has been on a roll, pointing out ‘traffic leaks‘ on various membership tours. It got me thinking, about our own ‘free sites‘ or ‘aen sites‘ and I wonder, do we pay any attention to the outgoing links on our own pages?

Basically, links to other sites than what the page, or tour, is promoting. Like if you are up selling to say Curious Cash, do you also have links to True Twinks on the page?

Just how much attention do we pay to the marketing tactics on our web sites? It is something I seriously have to re-consider. I mean if we have a page for VOD, do we add links to our naked picture galleries and the membership sites that we are selling? Or do we keep those pages strictly on target, to push the VOD?

In an ordinary store, we can sometimes carry such a wide variety, that it is natural to assume that our website will reflect that same diversity. However, I am thinking that while box stores, with gazillion of different products do well, the smaller more localized stores are also doing better. They carry the stuff in more depth, and the customers who come there, well that is what they are looking for, not for other stuff.

Shouldn’t our web pages reflect that attitude instead of the, ‘serve them everything‘ type approach?

Now who was it that said that being an adult webmaster was easy? I’d sure like to meet him one day in a back alley.
