Nightmare of Updates
It seems in this day and age companies are constantly upgrading, updating, their products and 9 out of 10 times its ’security fixes’ from previous upgrade / updates. Like sometimes you wonder why they can’t get it right BEFORE they release a product, but such is life, or so they say.
Of course much of the problem is due to the morons who love to hack, and hack and hack and it still perplexes me. I mean what benefit, what reward do these total and complete ASSHOLES get from hacking into a program like say Firefox? Vista? Simply because they can or because somehow they can make money off it?
What I hate though is companies like FIREFOX who constantly remind you to update, and then when you do, they totally fuck up some, not all, but some of your saved information. Firefox may indeed be the coming browser, but after you spend 2 hours resetting your passwords to sponsor sites, you get a bit testy.
The only choices they give you too, are to either upgrade now or later. Not like they give you a choice to pass unless its to a completely new build, like firefox 2.0 which I am still refusing to move up towards. Stubborn, but I do not want to spend more time updating information that shouldn’t even be touched in a upgrade.
