It really is a piss off, at the way some adult sites think they are being cute, by giving surfers a hook to see inside, for a buck. Yep, the One Dollar Trial is around, and the truth of it is simple, it is designed to further tarnish the reputation of the entire industry.
To begin with, no trial automatically terminates. You have to cancel it, otherwise your credit card will get dinged for the full membership price, if not more. Then too, there is exactly what content is available to those who avail themselves of these bogus hooks, trials?
Is it the entire collection or is selected items, and if selected, what happens to the affiliate that referred the surfer? Do they get credit, for the upsells, or are they paid off with the gimmick trial commission?
It is a sad state of affairs, that any honest site would need to use a $1 Trial offer. Now I can see something like X Days for X Dollars, that makes sense, but not these $1 affairs.
IT IS JUST A SCAM. NO MATTER HOW YOU SLICE IT.
