HOT LINKING is when you link to a picture, or graphic that is not on your own server, or host server.
Normally this is a frowned upon action, and requires putting a proper code in your domain, to prevent it.
However some sponsors will want you to hot link to their banners, as a way of inducement to get you to promote their product.
