INBOUND LINKS are simply links that direct the surfer (traffic) to your site.
There are many kinds of inbound links, that apply to how you operate your search engine optimization strategies, and they can be complex, or simple.
Simple truth, the more incoming links you have, the better it is for you.
Primarily the links are directed to your main index page, though some will use the next page in, the directory page, as they use the index page for a warning. Like that is useful.
Others will direct links further into their site, which is called ‘ Deep Linking ‘ .
Bottom line, any link that goes to your site, is an INBOUND LINK.
